Despite chilly weather, the members were eager to show their latest quilts at the first Guild meeting of 2010. A number of miniature quilts and completed UFOs showed up earlier than the Challenge deadlines of June and November. There was an interesting assortment of wallhangings, lap quilts and other quilted items. Catherine Y demonstrated using Press and Seal to mark the quilting pattern on a small quilt.

Rhonda M showed a wide variety of quilt blocks and small quilts constructed using foundation piecing. Rhonda loves saving even tiny scraps to use in foundation piecing. Even the most unlikely fabric patches, strips and patches combine to make remarkable scrappy quilts and foundation pieced items. Several photos from her demonstration are included at the end of the slideshow.
